1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Thumpzapp (“we”, “us”, “our”), the developer of the apps listed in section 2 and publisher on Google Play under the developer name “thumpzapp”, handles information when you use our apps. themachinemuse (themachinemuse.com) is the website where we publish information about our apps.

This policy applies to the following Android apps published by Thumpzapp on Google Play:

3. Summary
- We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, location or any other personal details.
- Our apps have no user accounts and no sign-in.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not run any servers that store your information.
- Some apps show ads using Google AdMob, which may collect limited technical information about your device, as described in sections 4.3 and 5.
- In our apps for children, ads are non-personalised, and we do not collect personal information from children.
4. Information we collect
4.1 Information you give us
Our apps do not ask you to enter personal information. If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we use it only to reply to you.
4.2 Information stored only on your device
Some apps save things like your progress, settings or scores on your device. The PDF scanner app uses your camera to scan documents and saves the files on your device. This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.
4.3 Information collected automatically by third-party services
Where an app uses the third-party services listed in section 5, those services may automatically collect:
- device information such as device model, operating system version, language and screen size;
- app information such as app version and ad interactions (for example ads shown and clicked);
- IP address, which may be used to estimate an approximate country or region;
- in apps that are not designed for children only: the Android Advertising ID, to show and measure ads.
We do not use this information to identify you personally.
4.4 Device permissions

5. Third-party services we use
Our apps use the following services. Each one has its own privacy policy, which explains how it handles data.

6. Children’s privacy
Several of our apps are designed for young children (see section 2). For these apps:
- we do not collect, store or share personal information from children;
- we do not collect or send the Android Advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address, SIM serial number, build serial number, or precise location from children;
- any ads are shown only through ad services that Google has approved for children’s apps (Families Self-Certified Ads SDKs), are set to be non-personalised and age-appropriate, and are clearly separate from app content.
We aim to comply with Google Play’s Families Policy, the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK GDPR rules for children, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information (for example by emailing us), contact us at thumpzapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.
7. How we use information
We use the limited information described above only to:
- run the apps and save your progress on your device;
- show ads that help keep our apps free;
- reply to support emails.
8. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent or trade information. Information is shared only with the service providers in section 5, for the purposes described there, or if the law requires it (for example a valid court order).
9. Data security
The third-party services we use send data over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Information saved by our apps stays on your device and is protected by your device’s own security. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we choose services that follow industry-standard security practices.
10. Data retention and deletion
- We do not keep any of your information on our own servers.
- Information saved on your device is deleted when you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.
- Data collected by the services in section 5 is kept and deleted according to those providers’ own retention policies.
- Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you, and then deleted.
- To ask us to delete any information connected to you, email thumpzapp@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days.
11. Your choices and rights
- You can reset your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how it is used. To use these rights, email us.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our apps or the law change. The new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. If we make an important change, we will also let you know inside the affected apps.
